Our Story
From Izzy Isaacs
"From a young age, I always knew I belonged in the world of performance. Music, dance and entertainment gave me a feeling nothing else could — freedom, purpose and joy. Through years of professional training, that dream only grew stronger.
After graduating in 2020, I was preparing to begin my very first professional dance contract in Germany. It felt like everything I had worked for was finally happening. But then the world stopped. The pandemic hit, theatres closed, stages went dark and the entertainment industry that so many of us loved suddenly crashed overnight. For performers everywhere, it felt like the spark had disappeared.
But for me, it did the opposite. It added fuel to my fire.
I realised how important entertainment truly is — not just for performers, but for people. Music brings people together. Performance creates memories. Joy, laughter and connection matter more than ever, especially during difficult times. I knew I wanted to create something that kept that spark alive. A space where local performers could continue doing what they love, gain paid opportunities and feel valued for their talent.
At the same time, I saw a huge gap in the market for something completely different — a brunch experience that wasn’t just for one generation, but for everyone. Something where parents, grandparents, friends and families could all come together through the power of music and nostalgia.
Boogie Brunch is more than just an event. It’s a community. It’s about unforgettable memories, dancing without judgement, singing at the top of your lungs and escaping reality for a few hours. It’s about celebrating performers, celebrating people and creating moments that stay with you long after the music stops.
What started as a difficult chapter in my story became the beginning of something truly special — and this is only the start."
